In 1991 the founder of Central Coast Virtual Reality queued for 8 hours outside Dymocks Sydney to try out "Virtual Reality" on the Virtuality 1000c.

The display was low-resolution, had strong ghosting artifacts, there was long response lag, and the whole thing was quite a terrible experience. Memories of finally putting up the helmet and feeling simultaneously highly nauseated and… extremely excited. This was the future!

Skip forward 25 years and the next attempt at Virtual Reality was something different - very different. The experience was breathtaking and transformative. It provided a portal to new worlds, beautiful spaces and exciting adventures. So CCVR was formed with a goal to bring the amazing power and perspicacity of virtual reality to everyone - and so our VR Studios were born.

"We are all created equal in the virtual world and we can use this equality to help address some of the sociological problems that society has yet to solve in the physical world."
